PhiLat

The Research Group PhiLat (Philosophy in Latin) explores the history of medieval Latin philosophy and sciences, with special reference to the key figure of Albert the Great, his Aristotelian philosophical project, and his diversified sources.

Members are engaged in reading groups and an ongoing seminar.

ArPhil

The Research Group ArPhil (Arabic-Islamic Philosophy) is interested in the philosophical, theological and scientific thought of Arabic-Islamic intellectuals in the Middle Ages, with special reference to Avicenna, al-Ġazālī, and Averroes.
